Many apologies for the delay with the re-opening of the site. There have been more issues than we thought with the transfer and conversion to the new software but the main holdup has been caused by a sustained sever attack originating from China from Thursday evening, this was followed by another attack that came from Russia. These attacks basically flooded the server, causing it to keel over. It looks as though the hosts have managed to fend them off for the time being but the site may run a little slow while they continue to work on it.

A number of things haven't ported over from the previous site, so will you all please check your own control panels to reset them up? Some sig pictures have failed to port over.

The following is a list of things that we have lost in conversion.

• Social groups
• The video section
• The photo gallery
• The 500 Club (to be replaced)

There are a number of new features with the new software, such as..

• Chat room (currently offline)
• Status updates (similar to Facebook)
• Colour change feaure - the site now has the capability to change colours. Blue is the default, the other colours are green, red and black.

Please do not use this forum to post questions. If you are struggling to do something, check out the help section first. This is located in a drop down box directly under your login name at the top right hand corner of the page. If you can't find an answer there, then post your question in the 'Forum Help' section.

Any bugs or glitches should be posted in the 'Bug Report' section.

You will all need to familiarise yourselves with site and please remember, when asking for help, please be patient. This forum software is new to all the Admins and Mods too ;)

We owe a huge amount of thanks to Rich and his colleague, Martin, for the many hours they have spent porting the forum over. It has been a nightmare to be honest but they have stuck with it to get us up and running again despite all the holdups.

Just a quick note to inform you all that Trippo has joined the admin team.

It's been in the pipeline for quite a while and one of Nigel's many idea's of which I will try my best to ensure happen in the near future.

So I welcome John to the Admin team and am sure he will be a great asset to the forum.
