The service history, (at least the stamps in the book from 5 or 1/2 dozen Harley agents) is comprehensive. The problem is whenever I check anything on the bike it is very ******* obvious than NOTHING has been done to the bike since it left America except perhaps the engine oil has been changed.
My friend is not the only Harley owner (or to be more accurate ex Harley owner) who I know who has had the same problems.
As I stated elsewhere here and I told Harley Europe when I phoned them up to complain about my friend's bike, had I been caught out with buying it myself I would kneecap every so called Harley "mechanic" who was supposed to have serviced the bike, and put a stamp in the service book.
