Hi, I´m looking to buy a used 4 stroke 125 scooter but am confused by the choice.
If anybody out there has any recommendations and/or buying tips I would be very grateful.

I need it for nipping into town (2 up) to save on parking costs and to avoid some of the short trips in the car, and for the odd shortish pleasure ride.
Requirements
-bigger than a 50cc with good pillion seat for a nervous pillion (the wife)
-something well engineered and reliable that won´t rust prematurely.
-good economy and decent power.

I have a budget of 1,000 pound- can I get something decent for this money?
