no disrespect carl but your advise as listed above is completely wrong advice, and is illegal to filter your way to the front of the que although you can filter your way to the rear of the vehicle that is at the front of the que (think about it and it does make safe sence)

if you do choose to filter (which is peferctley legal to do so) you can only perform the manouver if the way is clear for you to do so, meaning you must take contro of your own behaviour and if choosing to take action that would be careless to to then you would be breaking the law, if its clear and safe then its fine as long as you pull up behind the first vehicle in the que
