Glad he wasn't my instructor. i agree with everyone else. Do what you are comfortable with. There's no shame in riding a 125, I loved my 125 and learned loads from riding it - I would have been out of my depth on a bigger bike and it's too tempting to go for somethingt too fast too soon.
