Anything over £18 is fair game for customs import tax which is up to 30%. They check packages / parcels at random. Some get through others get stopped, it's a hit and mis thing.

Gift's are not taxable however, if caught with something gifted from a comercial seller you can be prosecuted.

If it's stopped and checked, you then have to pay extra postage to receive it.

I've been collered quite a few time's with things from ebay.com


If the value is over £18 Sam add extra shipping fee's plus another 30% and if it still works out cheaper than buying from the UK - go for it!!


Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........
