It appears a significant minority of bikers have total lack realisation when their bike has developed a problem that would make most of us not ride it, fix the problem, or trailer it to the mechanic.
The workshop that services my wife and I's bikes has had some fine examples lately. One bike was ridden to the workshop with a flat front tyre, and brake pads worn so thin they had dropped out of the calipers and were jammed between the discs and the calipers. |
