| Daytime Lights ? Whats your view?
As mentioned in a reply, have had this on another forum.
So, was wondering what the consensus was here?
Do you use head light during the day, or sides, main beam or no lights, also whats your reasoning/ logic behind it , if i can find it i will copy an article by a police bike instructor from another forum later to explain the reasoning/ decision making we should all be making.
So to start off, me personally, , i use NO daytime lights, EXCEPT in conditions of reduced visibility ie rain; fog etc etc when i use dipped beam, my logic is that car drivers do NOT look to see me regardless of light/ no lights, also they are all out to get me, so therefore if i ride in invisible mode, i can ride past without them puling out on me etc,,, so far i have only ever been cut up/ almost broad sided from lane changes where drivers fail to use mirrors/ chech blind spots ergo lights would make No difference.
So , whats your usual routine with lights, or opinion, and logic behind it? |
