I use dipped myself, i think main beam would probably pi$$ a few car drivers off and I don't want to do that whilst vunrable (spell-check).

i saw something interesting the other day, while sitting still (as usual) on the M25 in my truck. Something caught my attention in my mirror, it was a bike filtering, what caught my attention was his light switching to and fro between dip and main, what a bloody good idea I thought, don't know if he was switching himself or if it was auto.
