Personally I'm (at this point in time) quite happy to have my 'L' plate on, I want other road users to know I'm inexperienced and make appropriate allowencies, which to date they have ( except effing tractor drivers and effing double decker busses
)
When I'm driving I always make allowences for both the red and green 'L' plated cars and bikes. I feel that without them, learners (or those riding /driving on 'L's) would be subject to those knobheads road ragers who dont make allowences for learners mistakes ............... just my own opinion
