Hi All
Brand spanking new to the forum and to bikes. Been a car driver since the age of 17, never been near a bike for a good reason. My uncle was killed on one when he was 26 yrs old (well before my time) so bikes have always had a dark cloud hanging over them. Well I am 32yrs old this month and have now moved to London....and the appeal of a bike is becoming very clear.....as I slowly edge my way through london traffic!!!! I commute on the train 5 days a week (oh joy!) but still use the car at weekends (visiting friends etc). I love my driving and I love the car but these days its become a chore more than a joy...where has all the fun of driving gone!?!?!?!? I have had a poke around this site and am seriously considering a bike rather than using the car (although I would still keep it for obvious reasons)... but insurance quotes seem to come back at silly prices (probably due to my total lack of experince) and obviously my uncle's death still clouds my judgment..Not sure what i'm really hoping with this post...but am totally confused as to where to go next. Should I do CBT & DAS only to find that biking isn't for me...

typically now I find out they will make the test harder in October!!! just how much harder is it going to be??
not sure if there was a question in there or just a confused rant butall opinions welcome...

TIA
andrew
