| Re: Police Pursuit results in biker death
Oh right , sorry guys , ive never used one of these before so i really didnt know that . Well im Mark Andrew from Stalybridge , i stumbled on this website whilst looking for the story about the police being suspended .
I just wanted to read the news , but i found this place .
A friend of mine died in Exactly the same way 3 years ago , Only he was 17 years old and we are all naive at 17 , but he got chased on a stolen Bike ( silly i know ) and the police wouldnt back off , he went through a Red Light and straight into the side of a people carrier .
Many witnesses stated that the police were wrong yet nothing happened .
something has to be done .
Your right about the Press and media though .
Apparantly , the control room called a stop to the chase but their call fell on deaf ears .
Alan long was the registered owner of the bike , so they will of known where he lived . i dont understand why they couldnt simply get him at home when the bike wasnt going anywhere .
It would of saved this tragedy , and ive felt like crap for a week, imagine how the 18 year old polo driver feels , he will live with that forever . , its not summat you wanna see whilst chilling with your mates on friday night .
I feel for his family .
