I used that tyre weld stuff as a 'preventative' measure years ago. to all intents & purposes it permanently sealed 2 punctures. against that I've heard tyre fitters complaining about the mess the stuff makes when you come to replace a tyre. also, less commonly - if you lay yer bike up for a few months with tyre weld in yer tyres AND NO PUNCTURE, then the tyre weld can semi solidify (don't ask me how when its not exposed to air
) massing in a particular part of yer wheel & affecting the wheel balance
