Hi Folks,

I am new to biking (of the motor kind anyway)....

I did my CBT about 5 weeks ago (before jetting of on Hols), on my return I bought a brand new Yamaha YBR 125 for commuting from my home (Rosyth) to Edinburgh.........(across the Forth Road Bridge).

I have to say, I love the 125 as it is a nice bike for commuting and cheap to run, however, it is REALLY bad with uphills and headwinds, so, I have my DAS course and test booked for the end of Oct, start of Nov.

I am now looking to get a 600 / 650cc on passing my test (fingers crossed) and am after some advice on what to go for.

I was looking at all-rounders and quite liked the New Yamaha FZ6 Fazer S2 / ABS, or the Suzuki Bandit 650 SA or such like.

The reason for looking for a more upright ride is that I am 6 foot tall and suffered a car accident a year ago and have trouble with my back neck and shoulders, my back is okay if straight but does not like the bottom of it being bend / stretched.

Anywayz.......sorry for the REALLY long post, all help and advice greatly appreciated ?
