worst bike training ever :(

I feel like I got ripped off for the £100 I paid for the days training I did.

It was 3 other guys on 125's who had just started doing there direct access course so they had all just done there CBT's a few days ago so it was a lot of stop starting with them and I think for the whole day I got like 30minutes up front with the instructor watching me

I guess this is a little rant as I'm kind of nervous with having my test tomorrow and if I fail I have to wait 10 days before I can re-take it but my CBT runs out before that so I'll have to re-take that as well!

But the instructor said in the de-brief I would be fine. I had no majors in the riding he said a few minors here and there, mainly for not standing at traffic lights in a safe position e.g. foot on back brake, left foot on the ground both hands on the handle bar..

How many

School I'm with does 2 to 1 maximum ratio
Trying to run with any more than that & you can't really give each student the attention that they need/deserve for their hard earned cash

Good luck for tomorrow, sorry your training didn't go well as you'd expected it to go.

Sorry to hear you had a crap time Bristow, but if the instructor thinks your good to go ..........

thats rubbish fella, they shouldnt be trying to instruct that many people at once!

im hoping that the instructor is so confident in your abilities that he felt it was just a formality providing your training cos you are gonna ace the test tomorrow

I'm pretty sure the instructer said they do a 2 to 1 ratio with the 500cc but not on the 125.

That's bullshit mate, I got told they aren't allowed to take out more than 2 peeps. Good luck though fella, hope it goes well, is it ya part 1 or 2 you're doing? :-s

I've just booked 2 full days 1 to 1 with an instructor for £100 per day

pretty s***ty about your training school, i'd be having a word with them if I were you. When I was looking at doing training for my test I hung up on the schools that told me I'd be doing my mod 2 with cbt'ers simply because I'm paying 500 quid for a 3 day course, I want an instructor who's paying attention on me and me only. I didn't mind so much for the mod 1 because I allready knew what the test required, so I could just practice on my own, but i'd hate to have an instructor with 2 students on the road because they can't possibly pay attention to both riders and point out every mistake.
