Ravenscar

Day 4

Last night I put a village to village route to Skegness into the Sat-Nav which gave me a
much more Interesting route this morning.

Left the Travelodge about 10am and had a lovely ride over to Skegness where I pop in
on a family member for coffee, then headed North across the Humber bridge, that's some
crossing. Rode on up to Grotbags in Witherwick, after a coffee break GB escorted me part
the way to Deano's up in Ravenscar near Whitby (a pleasure to ride with you GB), the roads are definatley getting nicer the
further North I go, a few miles of nice twistys approaching Deano's and Mickie's only spoilt
by some slow you down gravel left from the re-surfacing.
No problem finding the address and was blown away by the view they have from their
house (see below).
Good to find Deano likes his sport as much as me as we watched the end of the US Open
and after Mickie's superb curry we settled to watch the footy.

As usual some pics from the day below.

The quiet shy one.

The GB machine.

Grots on her bike.

Riding behind Grots.

The bikes at Deano's.

Deano's pet sheep.

The stunning view.

Deano and Mickie outside their crib.

Re: Scudnut Reporting In From......

Dunbar (Aye, I'm in Scotland)

Day 5 (yesterday)

After a delicious bacon butty and coffee I followed Deano (with pillion Mickie holding on for dear life) along a great route to Hartlepool Marina, with a ciggy stop at Saltburn Beach and coffee at the WhistlestoP cafe in Whitby, what a lovely place Whitby is.
We didn't go over the speed limit once, honest.
At the Marina I met Lady Clara for the first time, a lovely girl, just a bit shy and quiet... NOT!

After coffee and chats Lady C went back off to work, Deano and Mickie headed home and I headed North to Blyth, by now the sun was blazing.
Just short of Blyth I phoned Joolz but couldn't get through, because time was a bit tight I didn't hang about so by the time he got back to me I was on my way again, gutted I didn't get to meet you mate but another time for sure.

I met Alfie at McDonalds (no, we didn't eat there) on the A1 just outside Barrow, I meant to get a snap of his ride but I forgot, It's definatly a Honda but can't remember the model (must be old age setting in), a cracking looking 07 with half the milage of my less than 2 month old Strom.

Alfie, his family and a neighbour made me feel really welcome, It's a shame I couldn't stay longer but I wanted to get to the camp site before it got dark, hope you and your family have a great holiday mate and make sure you drink as much whiskey as you can to get your moneys worth.

The site was only 18 miles away but it was a fantastic road there, I'm glad I took it easy as some of the sharp bends came out of nowhere.

The camp site is where I am now, Innerwick, near Dunbar.

I managed to borrow a foot pump this time without braking it.
I don't think they were midgies (cos I got no bites), but millions attacked me while I was pitching the tent.
I sprayed my face with Insect repellent, got it a bit too close to my mouth, got sore lips and nearly chundered.

Pics below.

Just about to head North from Deano's.

Ciggy Break.

Hartlepool Marina.

Me and Lady Clara.

Lady C, me and Micki.

Me, Alfie and Cheeky Monkey.

Some pictures taken just over the border.

Erection time again.
