The undeniable star of this year’s Ducati stand at The Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show 2009 is the eagerly awaited Ducati Multistrada 1200; a true Ducati in style, design and advanced technology - derived directly from Ducati’s racing experience on MotoGP and World Superbike tracks across the globe.

Honda, Harley and all the Italians are missing, except for Ducati. Well, if you can call it a stand - they have two (count 'em!) bikes on a small display - the Multistrada 1200 (the standard version, without the clever suspension) and a 796 Hypermotard. No CCM either, or at least not that I noticed.
I went and had a good time. I was lucky that my mate got 4 tickets for trade day which was on last Thursday and offered me one.
The missing manufacturers were very noticeable. Less trade stands than usual as well I think. I think there may be good bargains on the last Sunday as the salesman on the Scott Leathers stand thought trade day was quieter than usual and this may be reflected in lower visitor numbers for the rest of the show.
The Ducati stand was put on by a dealership from Coventry, not Ducati UK.
I bought a Scott Leathers 2 piece suit. I got £60.00 off the ticket price so it was worth going to the show as I've been after a new one for a while.
