i enjoyed the nec show , but got a bargain train fare . who is at the show is on the london motorbike show website . later on will be the actual list of bikes will be there and times of the stunt / action show what is usually fantastic . this is free where the show at nec was a further charge what i thought was out of order after paying to get in the show

i have seen that advance ticket sales have been improved 77% from last years sales . therefore i urge members that can to attend on week days those members who cannot to get up early and go to the show .if you go later in the day things might get busy and you will have to wait adges to see the bikes . night shift workers i dont recommend you go to the show arter the night shift work . i did this at ali pali once i was like a zombie at the show and next to useless the next day . its not that ali pali is far away either its only a 20 min bus ride for me .

went on 5th , was busy and its not the weekend yet . had a relaxed amble around the show then sawthe stunt show . if anyone is in two minds whether to go to the excel show i would urge them to make the effort and go . if you need any biking kit there are serious bargains to be had . the only thing i would have liked to have got was not there a model glue to gether airfix type kit of a motorbike . would have thougt that one place would be selling some but no luck . i know there is a shop for these kits at holburn so i will have to go there

anyone who will be going who needs riding kit or basically anything to do with your bike i hope you have been saving because there are serious bargains to be had here , you might even get something you have and put it in the wardrobe because there are so many good bargains . i saw helmets for £30 , flip fronts for £40 and a coat was reduced from £90 to 30 ! your plastic freind might get a hammering but you will be saving loads of money . you will probably save more money than you paid to get in the show. i have not mentioned that members who have disabled freedom pass will efectively get in for half price as you get 2 tickets for the price of one so either take a freind or find someone to go in with there .

Hey all, Just got back from the motorbike show. I really loved it and the offers they had there.... just amazing. So many discounts and so many good things to get, especially boots, helmets and jackets-trousers As you may or may not know I don't own a bike yet but I am really into it and getting one step closer every day. Today I bought my first item from the show and I am over the moon!!! A HJC FS-10 helmet... from £199.99 down to £79.99 (with a bit of bargaining). I am really excited about it and it felt quite nice. Has anyone used this helmet before? It would be nice to take some opinions, even though I have already bought it ![]() The show was great, I got a close look of all the bikes (small and big ones) and really enjoyed the day there. The burgers were a tad expensive... hehehe ... but who cares. Anyway, really good impressions and I will defo go next year as well. |

Sorry, I couldn't make it this time. I thought, I'd been to the NEC and it would be a whole day lost on Saturday. Need the brownie points with wife & kids so I left it this time. Hope all who went enjoyed it.

Depending on Mrs Skorpions health I am going to try and make the Scottish show and also to the National Motorbike Museum. Would also like to see the Imperial War Museum as well, went to Malta 2yrs ago and wanted to see their museum but it was fookin shut!
