I wonder if subliminal messaging really does work

Seriously - I'd keep it although I know nothing of the other bike. I just know I want a Blackbird eventually

Buffalo: Schuhe - CLASSIC - 1339-14 CHAROL NEGRO 01 000

...and then wonder why I get asked to remove my shoes when I go through airport security!

Re: Stick or twist?????????

I would keep the Honda as i've heard that Aprillia spares are hard to get hold of if you should ever drop it etc. Honda not a problem with spares although a little expensive.

Like what's already been said, see if you can borrow it for a day to ride.

Re: Stick or twist?????????

Do the only sensible thing, git rid of that overgrown scooter and buy the Aprillia, twist and be rid of it!

With the extra grand saved in the long run you may be able to fill the petrol tank 'right to the top'

Go on you heard the voices, the little devil on your shoulder is making lots of sense

  1. Its faster, a lot faster
  2. Its more economical
  3. Its more reliable
  4. It holds its price better
  5. Its better finished
  6. Parts are easy to get hold of if you need them
  7. Its tried and tested
Nuff said
I know what you're saying, yes, it is faster. Thing is I had a go on my brothers ( yes he's got a lot of bikes! ) Triumph Tiger last weekend. It is by no means a sportsbike, but it still felt quick upto the ton+. Did a little test 60-100 in fourth. Blackbird 6 secs, tiger 8 secs, so not a massive difference, and though he pulled away when he was on my bike, it wasn't like he left me standing. The one thing I don't like about my 'Bird is that, cos of the big fairing/screen it doesn't 'feel' fast. I know Blackbirds hold their values, Falcos don't but that's why it looks such a steal. It's a Mille with half fairing, and it does go! Think I'm 60/40 now in favour of stickin' with the Honda though.

I ride to work, I work to ride.

Re: Stick or twist?????????

One thing it isn't is a Mille, different chassis and detuned engine mate.

Re: Stick or twist?????????

But it's still looks like an overgrown scooter now that should sway it 95/05 in favour of the Apillia
