Bike insurance cheapest I found

If you need insurance try a quote through these, cheapest I've found even better than ebike and carol nash, and most other competative Company's, the quote has legel cover, protected bonus, full breakdown cover, riding other bikes and european cover all in.

I found these cheaper than anyone so far, I you don't fancy doing an internet quote they have a FreePhone number to ring which I did, I gave them a price to beat and they won hands down over everybody, I even got them to give me 365 days full european breakdown cover for an extra £15.

Total price I paid with 4 years no claims for a Yamaha Fazer 1000 and a second bike Yamaha FZ750 was £225 including the European breakdown cover

The things that determine bike insurance are where it's kept, post code, age, claims, bike model, add-on's etc. No two bikers 'things' or requirements are the same. With the exactly the same details except using my dads address (10 miles away) my quotes are for £15 more!

Every Tesco policy listed is a cut down one of the original policy, cover is very limited and is only of use if you don't intend to claim. Just add on the usual policy coverage like legals etc and the policy usually prices up dearer than the original because there is a broker (Tesco) fee to be added to the premium. Which you wouldn't have to pay if you went direct to the provider

I will repeat this again for you all (having spent around 12 yrs as a financial adviser).

There is no such thing as cheap insurance
Check the cover you are getting.

ALL insurance underwriters (apart form the CIS) use the same data to price a policy, the only difference in price is down to the level of cover offered and the life span of that particular policy. Very occasionally you might get an insurer that is new to a particular field of insurance that will simply make a loss to get customers to sign up. They then try to make up that loss by cross selling other products to the client database.

Mine aint through Tesco's, it was through the site above who of course are brokers, they got me a deal on a Easy Rider policy with Norwich Union, I tried Norwich Union direct and they were way more expensive. Some of these broker sites have so many hits that they are given huge discounts by the major Company's to attract new business.

Same here, I used the search engines and chose Norwich Union and the same as you, going direct cost more for the same cover

The postcode thing really gets on my wires! Although I live in Co. Durham, for some reason I have a Sunderland postcode. Durham (a bit posher, lower crime rate)/Sunderland (rough and high crime rate) makes my insurance go right up. Rip off!!!

Only in the rough end mate....not where I live. I hear the houses fall in the sea in Scarborough though? Won't be long before it works inland??
