Which Bike

Hi
Going back to bikes after 25 years- can't decide on a Versys- ER6 N or ER6 F,
any feed back appreciated ER 's are winning at the mo due to 0% finance.

Thanks

Re: Which Bike

hiya pugwash welcome to the forum.. when choosing a bike its all down to personal preference . go to the dealers and sit on everything you like the look of,then arrange test rides from there.i have never owned an er6 but they get good write ups and owners seem to be very pleased with them and of course they come with japanese reliability built in

Re: Which Bike

Hya Pugwash and welcome to the biker forum. I just spoke to a guy today that runs a training school in the northeast and he has had a fleet of er6's for twelve months now and he is very pleased with them. I've only ridden the versys for a short distance but is seemed well put together and they both have modern versions of the GPZ500 engines so its down to preference really.

I read that smoking weed destroys your brain cells - so I gave up reading

Hi Pugwash.. I'd go with the Versys cuz that's the one I went with and I only buy the best motorcycle on earth when I shop. I struggled over the decision for months so that you and others wouldn't have to. Trust me

fair comment steversys . but i stand by my advice to get some test rides before committing to buying anything, having said that i bought my thundercat without ever having ridden one, because i "knew" thats what i wanted... and welcome to the forum, now get over to new new members and introduce yourself to everyone

Thumbs up Re: Which Bike

:Hi Pugwash

Had an ER6n myself - what a bloody fantastic ride. My husband has always had bigger and faster bikes than me and he loved it Is very forgiving, goes round bends like it's on rails, doesn't weigh anthing - overall, handles really well. Only gave it up (very reluctantly!!!!) cos my back forced me to go back to riding an SLR which is more upright
Would never have sold it otherwise - I absolutely, absolutely LOVED it

Believe me...she changes her mind like her underwear (actually much more often than that) so if she loved it, she really loved it!
