Summer Attire

The sun was shining today, I was up early and had enough time to raid the wardrobe for the old summer trusty:-

Must admit on the run work felt I slightly less secure than normal, but it was nice to get in chilled and with the added bonus of a fly breakfast

Re: Summer Attire

I luv the old open face lids for the extra peripheral vision, but never worn one since a bee gave me a fat lip in 1979

I love wearing my open face in the summer, true that the risks are there, but sometimes it is just worth it for the feeling,

just keep your mouth closed

i saw a picture some time ago (think it was ogrish) of a bloke after he came off wearing an open face helmet, dont know if it was the same one but again no lower jaw and most of the top jaw had gone to they should be illegal for road use

Re: Summer Attire

You could say the same about clothing but at the end of the day it's about freedom of choice

Re: Summer Attire

I remember when I was 17 I was forever tinkering with my bike to gain an extra mile an hour (Time well wasted I might add) out of it, I used to tinker and ride through the town, tinker and then ride through the town.

One day on a tinker run I was convinced what ever I had done had worked the bike felt faster and everything felt different, It was then i noticed I had forgotten my helmet

I can see the appeal of a full face helmet
