Tips I used baby wipes to clean my helmet and leathers and they came up a treat Has anybody ever used them before? And WD-40 is a true miracle spray. Spray a clean rag with it, then wipe down the front of your bike, the headlights, etc. Bugs won't stick at all. Sammy ![]()

Re: Tips If you have a coloured end can and you've tried everything to stop steaking, try Wurth Brake Cleaner, they advised me at Beowulf exhausts to use this, it doesn't leave any residue and always looks new and not harmful to the metal.

Re: Tips I've never 'steaked' my end can. Is that a wooden 'steak' Rocks??? Can you believe that Rocks used to run his own printing business ( note the 'USED to' ). Back on topic, I just wet a couple of sheets of kitchen roll, apply over helmet and wait 15 minutes. All the bugs come off real easy. Works really well on the front of the bike too, free, and is environmentally sound.

Re: Tips While we are talking tips.. I have a method which makes removing chain lube and other assorted grud from wheels etc.. You will require some mutton cloth, a bucket of hot water, triple wax (or similar) and wd-40.... Wet the rag and then squirt wax on it and mush it around a bit.. then spray a bit of wd-40 on the wheel and use the water/wax cloth to wash wheel... Chain lube comes off easy and the wheel will not only be clean but will shine too, once dried.. ![]()
