Re: Tax doesn't have to be taxing

Taxed both my bikes online with no issues - great service - save queueing in the PO.

Mind you it depends on your PO - our local Post Master in too helpful! He'll explain everything in minute detail - even if the queue is going out the door...

Honda CBR 600RR and proud!!

Taxed the bike with two insurance documents (one to 25/06/08 and one from 25/06/09) at my local post office with no problems at all. Prompt, efficiant service from well trained staff. AND I payed in notes not coins. Does anybody want to help me eat this humble pie? There is quite a lot...!

Re: Tax doesn't have to be taxing

I was stood in a post office queue a few years ago, an old man had just collected his pension, and was counting his money, he noticed something "odd" with 1 of the £20 notes, so he went back to the counter, the assistant told him that it was a forgery, and that she would have to keep it to pass to the police, when he asked her to give him another £20 note she said she couldn't, and that it wasn't her fault that "HE" had a forgery, and there was nothing she could do about it, he explained that she had just give it to him but she wouldn't listen, he went away £20 short.
