| Re: feck - it ain't easy, is it?! Well done both of you. I dropped my bike twice in my CBT due to lack of balance and being absolutely useless at U-Turns (Lady Clara would agree with me there). Have never attempted one since my test on any of my bikes.Staying on a rstricted bike is a good decision (you can always derestrict it and not tell anyone when you get used to it ![]() Good Luck for Tuesday Last edited by rv-57-gaz : 06-15-2008 at 03:31 PM. |

| Re: feck - it ain't easy, is it?! I dropped the bike on my first DAS lesson. Failed that test but passed on 125 nay bother. Both bike examiners were sound blokes, the second could have failed me for an ar$e hole doing 50 in a 20mph zone, but he chose to blame him ![]() Good Luck to both of you on Tuesday. | Re: feck - it ain't easy, is it?! Good luck for Tuesday both of you. Did my CBT last Sat and had my first DAS lesson today. Dropped the 500 at the first turn onto the main road! (I was turning left and the road had quite a lean on it). Picked myself up and got straight back on and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the lesson. I'm sure whatever Mrs GT does it will all turn out right in the end. |

| Re: feck - it ain't easy, is it?! ...... we both passed!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Couldn't beleive it! We both did the tests on 125's. I tried a 500, but after 4 days of getting to grips with the 125 and cracking the nerves; the 500 just felt unruly and unsafe for me. I think the trainers talked the fear of god in to me as well as they didn't trust my clutch-hand. But hey - who cares... we did it! 6 minors for me (mostly small observation things) and just 3 minors for the missus ![]() And they were for going too quick ![]() I'll take a Honda CBR600 restricted please ![]() |
