feck - it ain't easy, is it?! Mrs GT and I started our Direct Access yesterday. Only got our CBT's this afternoon! But we both got them. Yay!Mrs GT isn't going to be allowed to go to test on a 'big bike' either... she's been off the 125 a few times due to lack of balance at very slow speed, so she won't handle a heavy bike Still, I'll just get myself the bike I want and have it restricted so she can ride too. We're both going to test on Tuesday, so fingers crossed we can get our sh*t together by then! MUST remember to cancel those stupid indicators! ![]()

I came off 3 times in my CBT too but they still put me on a big bike anyway for my course - if they had left me on a 125 I might have passed my test and not sacked it, so Im glad to hear she's still going for it! Quote:

Re: feck - it ain't easy, is it?! Don't worry mate, exactly the same happened when me and the Mrs took a das together, she ended up doing cbt on a twist and go, I ended up doing cbt on a gs 500, was much easier to control at slow speeds and felt better planted on the road. The more relaxed you are the better you will do, you will make plenty of mistakes, I know I did. Just take a deep breath compose yourself and start again, and don't look down! The first ride out when it all came together was one of the best feelings ever.

Re: feck - it ain't easy, is it?! Good luck for your tests I definately know how hard it is I came off a 500 day before my test on a U Turn 1st time i've binned the bike and myself still got the bruises but it's not as bad as you think it's gonna be my examiner was the nicest man ever (nothing like car examiners) and they do allow for nerves (but not indicators I'm afraid) hope it all goes well for both of you loads of luckDawn
