Lets see if you say the same after riding the TT circuit Carl just because the bike wasn't set up properly and fearless don't make a good rider - just a stupid one. One guy I know (copper) rides a Pan mostly two up and you just cant stay with him. Mind you he does have Ohlins front and rear, but its still a bloody big bike to throw around like he does.

Where I live a 200mph plastic missile is about as much use as a chocolate spanner. There is a drain cover in the middle of each corner, and no straights long enough to get up to any speed, and most of the road surfaces are crap. A bike that handles is more important than one that can do 200mph.
One of the hooligan 600/650 single cylinder super-motos is the tool for the job locally if I ever had the money to buy one and also find one with a seat height low enough for my little legs.
