Laverda insurance claim update

Well the laverda has been at the insurance for 2 weeks now. I was told that quote for the repair should of been complete by the end of this week. I got a call this aft from them. The quote is being done as we speak, and so far things are looking ok.

The crash had put a small dent in the lhs exhaust, only the size of a pea at the most, and on the underside. It looks like I'm gonna have to concede that, even tho I know it was done a the time, but if I did not then it is likely that it would be a write off as the exhausts are so expensive. However there was the other damage in another area (which is far more visable) which will be repaired.. so I guess it evens out.

The quote should be in next week and the estimator is confident it will be repaired and not written off

Re: Laverda insurance clain update

excellent news indeed. however, I would delete yer reference to "existing damage" jonny, cos you never know who reads this forum & it'd be a shame to risk compromising yer claim
