| average speed cams apparently we are to get more of these things in scotland  , i cant find a link anywhere,but they will be placed on 3 or 4 very popular biking roads, do these things photograph you from the front?. if they do then i dont need to worry about them ..............................Sam |

| Re: average speed cams We've got them in Nottingham and they're forward looking. i.e. on the bike I don't worry about them. Car drivers stick to the speed limit though which is good because they don't suddenly slam the brakes on like when they spot a Gatso. |

| Re: average speed cams As argila00 said - we got a whole bunch of them on our inner ring road in Nottingham. Yes they are forward facing. Apparently they can also be fooled by you changing lanes between each camera..... |

| Re: average speed cams Sam The ones on the M40 down ere are rear facing so we are scuppered, the tempory ones on roadworks tend to be forward facing so no problem, also they have scattered them across a load of A roads but again they are forward facing so just smile as you go through  |
