Shoei have a second inside visor which really helps in colder times. Pin lock I think its called. Keep you lid in the house, not garage as the visor is already warm and your breath does not make it steam up. Get some decent waterproofs! In my yoof when I needed a new tyre on the bike I got up to 10mph ( yes ten ) and then locked the back wheel in the wet. You then learn to control the skids. Dont blame me if you are a slow learner!! | Re: Riding in the rain - suggestions and advice? I had a minor 'off' in a heavy downpour about a year ago and that really killed my confidence. But steadily I regained it by slowing down, being smoother with the controls and concentrating more on the traffic around me. Not had a problem since. ![]() |

| Re: Riding in the rain - suggestions and advice? One thing you can buy is rain away and out that on your visor basically when you get over 40mph + the rain just clears away from your visor by its self. I use rain away on my visor and car windscreen Only costs about £7 a bottle |
