First Aid for Bikers

A friend mentioned a first aid course written specially for bikers - think it was called First Bike on Scene - but didn't have any further information. Has anybody heard of this and know who's running it. He thinks it started off in the north somewhere but isn't sure.

Recommended for anyone who rides a motorcycle, or wishes to administer first aid or manage the initial scene of a road traffic incident. The First Bike on Scene™course has beenspecifically designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to deal with the initialmanagement of a patient involved in a road traffic accident. Bikers are encouraged to give casualties necessary basic life support in the event of an accident whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive.


Sounds like a fantastic idea, and one I should look into down here!

I've downloaded the PDFs of the application forms, and had a look there - I've also been around the site, but can't find any information on prices.

I can't believe it would be free though.

Shame it's too far from me, it looks like it would be really good to do.
