Sorry to hear ya dropped it Sam , glad ya ok an ya managed to polish out the damage an had new parts coming anyway.
Mention of head lights reminds me of a recent thread and poll in another forum, so i may start a poll to compare the results.

What you could have done Sam is:

Take off your bent crash bung (Don't waste it) and fit it to the said BMW's bonnet (using the push hard dent puncture technique) until it makes the appropriate hole.
