Re: Daytime Lights ? Whats your view?

I always have my dipped headlight on....can't be too careful. As a car driver I only really saw the bikers with headlights on.

Re: Daytime Lights ? Whats your view?

Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. Lights on. And a thousand times Lights on. I think it's the single most important thing you can do to increase your visibility to other road users, and it can't possibly do any harm ( well your bulb may wear out a couple of months early, but that's a small price to pay ). I ALWAYS have dipped beam on. If I'm filtering between cars both sides I bang the full beam on. If cars approaching me are driving into a low sun, I bang the full beam on. I've got a yellow headlight cover on to make me stand out a bit better at night, which should also hopefully help when all the cars are manufactured with lights permanently on, which is crappy news for all bikers I think. Thanks for that Brussels.

I'll be in the lights on corner too, I'm glad most new bikes have no switch tbh.

Re: Daytime Lights ? Whats your view?

A friend of mine is a paramedic and the first thing he said to me when he found out I was learning to ride a bike was................."always ride with your lights on, even during the day, it could save your life".

I for one am not going to argue with a paramedic

Re: Daytime Lights ? Whats your view?

As soon you as you fire up my Honda the lights come on!! Well ... actually 1 comes on.

The Honda has two front lights - but on normal running it's just one that is illuminated!! I would prefer both - but honda designed it with just one - anyone know why?

Both light up on full beam....

Honda CBR 600RR and proud!!
