Jeremy Clarkson - Top Gear last Sunday

Did anyone else watch Top Gear last Sunday - JC paid a smallish compliment to bikers.

He mentioned the fact that we go out for rides just for the hell of it - to explore - and not like car drivers who use it to get from A - B...

He also said that Audi A4 drivers are the new BMW drivers - TRUE!!!

Honda CBR 600RR and proud!!

To quote Clarkson:

"Hey,now listen. When was the last time you just got up and went for a drive. Not to anywhere. Not for anything. Just for a drive. See, motorcyclists do it all the time so why don't human beings"

I don't call that a compliment

His comment made me chuckle, and I don't mind not being a human as long as I can be a biker

I just think he's funny, I like his sense of humour and lack of PC'ness in his comments and opinions.

I'm sure half the time he say's things to wind May and Hammond up!

Re: Jeremy Clarkson - Top Gear last Sunday

Just found this in response to the Jeremy Clarkson for Prime Minister official Goverment online petition started by a member of the public (almost 50,000 online votes).

Posted above is the Government's official, and rather amusing, video response.

In their own words:

We thought long and hard about the request to make Jeremy Clarkson the Prime Minister and in the end we put our thoughts down in a short film.

Re: Jeremy Clarkson - Top Gear last Sunday

I could be wrong, but I'm sure I remember Top Gear testing bikes, albeit a very very long time ago. Probably in the days of William Woollard (ask yer mam) Noel Edmonds and Tiff Needell.
Seem to remember Steve berry testing a couple of bikes when he did a stint on it.
Clarkson gets pissed off when he spills his Pimms on a Sunday afternoon, whilst sat in the garden of his Chipping Norton home, when something with loud pipes goes past.
