Freebird -biker movie

Warning, dont bother watching this movie.

I can only imagine its some cynical plot by the car industry to portray all bikers as feckless w*nkers in some last ditch desperate plot to stop people buying bikes and keep them in cars.

Otherwise its awfull

I mean "Wildhogs" is a franky, silly parady with a wafer thin plot but at least you can see thats what its meant to be, Freebird doesnt lose the plot it just never had one, a damn shame too cos they could have done something so much better.
The producers of layer cake made it apparantly, Come on guys you can do better than that FFS!

Bitterly disappointed

Well yes, granted tarantino would never make something as dire as FB but its a shame, i mean the Tarentine stuff is good fun but its very "USA" for obvious reasons.
I think there is a place for a UK and or European Biker classic movie, something different to a US movie, good in a different way.
Look at some of the cult brit movies like "Train Spotting" "Lock Stock" etc why not a Brit bike movie

If the Brits could make a biker movie along those lines it would be a box office hit!

Re: Freebird -biker movie

Can't see me inthat vid but that hill was a nightmare. I'm on a little red n white VFR. Thank god they thought to put that carpet there otherwise a few more people would have got stuck/fallen over. It took so many attempts to get that shot that it killed my battery starting and stopping all the time.

I was on the weekend they shot the part of the film up on the mountain in crappy weather again, when the 2 "gangs" were running together with stupid weapons. Just after the van full of skunk drives off.

The funny thing is that the van was full of ferns pretending it was weed and with the amount of people there they could have possibly done a whipround ad filled it with the real thing
