I hope I pass my test............

Hi All

As the title says I hope I pass my test, as I have only gone and bought a bloody bike.

Seen it just over a week ago, when I went around looking with a mate of mine. So phoned the dealer and still there so I got it, I might be mad but what the hell.

It's safetly tucked away in the garage, I just go and sit on it and start it up

If I knew how to resize foto I could insert it.

Very nice indeed....just imagine it's parked up the road when you do your u-turns and you'll sail round!

Very Pleasant... You can't go far wrong with a fazer for a first bike.. quite rapid too if you keep the motor spinning in the upper 3rd of the revs

... not much in bottom third tho

Handling is ok, tho the front end wanders around a bit and is kinda vague on worn, bumpy tarmac... brakes could be better, but not the worst either.. comfy riding position, decent protection from elements, and overall a very capable and practical tool, although the under seat exhaust is kinda toasty in the hot weather, tho might be nice in winter.

only thing I would do is fit a "fender extender" to the front mudguard to keep those down pipes a bit cleaner. The one I'm riding around on is a 07 plate with 3.5k on the clock and the down pipes are pitted already

Yep, Das course completed over the weekend, and finished off with test today. And passed with 2 minors.

And I have been for a spin this evening and the bike is excellent.

Taking it nice and easy to get miles under the belt.

I was nervous about the u-turn, but sailed around with no probs, and the left hand foot peg was in the up position as well, I must of knocked it into the up position whilst walking the bike around in a u-turn.

Once I started the u-turn I was thinking where's the bloody foot rest, but quickly put it out of my mind and just got on with it.
