Re: RD5 Warrington

Who are you?

Are you going to add anything to our forum?

Methinks you are just here to complain about some dealer and without me having any idea who you are I'm disregarding this post.

Thank you.

Re: RD5 Warrington

I'm so sorry - I thought this was a forum for bikers and thought this was something of interest, there are so few good bike shops around now I was merely commenting so new bikers especially women would not feel ridiculed and extremely uncomfortable.

And yes I was going to comment on other parts of this forum and all my details are in my profile. I hope that has answered yours and your 'thuckering' parrots answers.

The big problem with the whole RD5 comment was I was a woman after a lid and a bulb for my Ducati - I turned up in a car and was treated like a bimbo - the turnaround only happened when the guy found out what I was after.

It is a forum for bikers.

Firstly for any forum, it's good manners to introduce yourself or at the very least to say hello.

That's why there is a new members section which you have scrolled by and ignored to access the bike chat.

Your first post is a rant pure and simple! and this second post is just rude to other members of the forum, which in my opinion is bang out of order!

I dont know the dealers in question but if I was working in any public faced industry (as if I dont) and someone came in with the attitude shown on this good forum, I would take long steps - in the oppposite direction.

Perosnal opinion - I hope it decides we are to uncivilized and goes away and finds another forum to be so bleedin rude on - bleedin people (pun there for those who know me )

Good job I dont have access to a BAN button

n thanks GB

Re: RD5 Warrington

Hmm. We seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot here then eh?

First of all Dutchess welcome to the Biker Forum. The main issue here is that we get a hell of a lot of people signing up, posting a rant or worse - spam. Never to be seen again.

I don't know what your definition of a 'biker' is but mines anyone that rides on two or three wheels for enjoyment as most do. I live very close to Warrington myself and have heard differing reports about this place but wouldn't have said anything like that. Have you never heard of libel? Well thats what you have just left me wide open to as owner and adminstrator of this site.

The introduce yourself section is there for good reason, first of all it tends to get people responding to your first post which in turn gives you a chance to engage in a bit of banter. Sound normal?

Now lets look at another, possible but hypothetical situation. Just say that you are with some of your friends in your usual meeting place and someone you have never heard of or don't know, storms through the door and starts shouting off about some bike shop that most of you have never even heard of. Are you going to give them any time, are you going to take any notice of them? Like hell you are.

That scenario is almost exactly what you have just done on the forum but then didn't like the response.

So lets take it a bit easier eh, after all we are Bikers

Fuck me rigid - am I getting old or is it the green stuff thats made me into the lovable character that I appear to be

Re: RD5 Warrington

Wow - women from up north ... gotta love 'em!! Like a whirlwind!!

Hello Duchess - pls pop back and post again! Been to Warrington a few times and will ask around. They should have never treated you like that.

Unfortunately Sexism, like Racism, is still prevelant in our society - you cannot expect to defeat it totally - the best thing you can do is rise above it and develop a thick skin to it.

Honda CBR 600RR and proud!!

Sounds to me like she went there with 'attitude' and received like for like
