The saga of the laverda repairs.. Update

For those new ppl on the forum my Laverda was viciously reversed over by a bint in a suzuki jimny, which as one can imagine, never did it much good. That was the last weekend in May.

The legal assist on my insurance have been very good, I had a hire bike since within 48 hours and my bike is being repaired at her expense...

Anyway things have dragged on.

I rang them today and they have told me they are aiming to have my baby restored to her former glory on 13th August.

Not sure I believe this tho, I won't hold my breath, but at least things are progressing.

Re: The saga of the laverda repairs.. Update

update...

So on tuesday I got got a phone call from the repair shop to say I would NOT be getting my bike back on the due date (wednesday).. Shock Horror

Apparently when they inspected the new paint work on the fairing panels they found some areas which they were not happy with, so they are going to re do them..

They now have given me a new date of the 20th..so fingers crossed.

Re: The saga of the laverda repairs.. Update

No phone call as yet GB... I would of expected one to arrange drop off, and I am not holding my breathe, or expecting my baby back

At least the weather is given to perk up over the weekend, so if I get her back then it will be a nice ride out sometime over the weekend.
