The only reason i found out is because one of my mates said it looked flat.

I then went and checked and it was flat.

Didn't it feel different when riding ? I had a puncture and fast deflation once on a 125 and it was horrible, felt like the back end was collapsing.

Your missing my point entirely.

My point is that YOU should be checking your bike, not relying on your mate to tell you a week later that you have a flat tyre.

That makes you a hazard to other road users!

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Re: Nails in tyres

I just got a nail in my two-week-old rear tyre that I just paid £130 for. I called the garage to see if they'd plug it but they wouldn't. It was sickening having to go back to the garage for the second time and and hand over the same money again but I suppose if I did get it plugged it would always be in the back of my mind that there's a hole in my tyre. Gonna get some ultraseal for my tyre this time and put it in as a precautionary measure so if it happens again I can just pull the nail out and forget about it.
