Re: So what have you done to your bike today?

Ridden the nackers off it to Scaling and back. Tonight was the first bit of decent weather since I bought it. Had the best run over Whitby moors in ages. The new tyre is well and truly scrubbed in and I'm fly splattered from top to toe

Re: So what have you done to your bike today?

Checked my tyre pressures.

Went scenic route to work to test out modifications skodaphil and I made to the front end last night.. much improved, but still needs heavier oil..

New coil arrived at work.. but no time to fit it until the weekend

Rode to my mums for tea... still loving new feel of front end (Mrs W and baby Ws off on holiday)

Rode home.

Woke up to heavy rain so settled on the car but the sun came out at midday so off home in the lunch break to pick up my bike. Then spent the afternoon pretending to work between different sites whilst taking the most scenic, longest route I could to get to them!!

Big grin didn't even come into it! I was like a kid at Christmas that had been bought everything they had ever dreamt of! Now today the skies are blue, there's a very slight breeze and I have to go to Torpoint this afternoon. This takes me down one of the best bike routes in England and I can't wait!

Re: So what have you done to your bike today?

Have not been on my bike for the last few days, mainly because it's raining all the time and work.

But I have fitted a " Tank Pad" which was a nightmare to line up. And got some boots.

Goodnews on the weather front, it's getting better for the weekend,so will be getting out over the weekend.

Paul
