A question for the men. Does your wife ride?

3 questions for the men.

1) Does your wife / partner already ride a bike?

2) If not has she shown an interest in riding such as wanting to do a CBT?

3) If she has, how do you feel about this?

No piss taking please peeps! Open up another thread for that please

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Well mine used to but there's some confusion about her licence.

You see, she went though her test on an LC50 and I think that means she went through the moped test not the bike test

Didn't stop her from going out and buying a CB550 which came in boxes. She got a boyfriend to put it together for her ... In his bedroom of all places

Anywhoo, she binned it on a bend, (she didn't even know it had more than 4 gears, she never got out of 4th), and has pins in here knee

She's on about doing her test again after she's got an MX5.

Re: A question for the men. Does your wife ride?

1) Nope!

2) I took her out pillion for the first time tonight, she was VERY nervous "Only take me to the end of the road" - when I got to the end of the road and started to do a U-turn she said "Don't stop, keep going!" - we were out for abotu an hour, she was freezing cold as had no gear, and was borrowing her Dad's helmet! we are going to go and blow a load of cash gearing her up on Sunday I think I can convince her to take her CBT you know

3) I am well chuffed that she will come pillion, makes it so much fun. would be REALLY happy if she did the whole bike test and got a bike too, would be so much fun - road trips together!!

Yes Wendy rides she has a Honda CB500S and loves it.

I get a great sense of pride when ever we go riding and see her coming through those bends in my wing mirror - she can ride real well I would say she is a natural

Yes n don't call me a bike, seriously - only on her lessons (and when she borrowed a 125 for a couple of hours for us to go a ride round)
2) If not has she shown an interest in riding such as wanting to do a CBT?

CBT & theory done n dusted

3) If she has, how do you feel about this?

Of course I worry about her riding, but I worry about her driving a car n know she is probably a better driver than me as well so its just about me worrying, not about her riding / driving skills .....

No piss taking please peeps! Open up another thread for that please
well, you did ask
