Re: failed test

To be honest i am not sure.

But i think if you failed for that, then it would be unfair.

It was probably 4 serious faults, if yes, then i feel sorry for you, however i think you will need to practice more, if that is the case. No offense.

your mate should have been given a piece of paper listing all the faults he made, i can only suggest that he studies this and discover the reason he failed. also can i suggest that you pop in hereNew Members - The Biker Forum and introduce yourself, then list the items that he failed on and we may be able to explain some or all of them and welcome to the forum chubybcfc

Have a read of this: How to Fail your Motorcycle Test! The DSA fail sheet.

Quote:
18 Use Of Speed – people who ride too quickly during there training often fail for going too slowly in their test. The reverse is true for those that ride too slowly during training. Typically, there are two main areas, firstly not getting up to speed in national speed limits and dual carriageways, and secondly, riding to quickly in busy built up areas. If the rest of your riding is very good this may well be a driver fault, but if the examiner is looking for an excuse to fail you as your riding has lacked confidence etc then this is where he/she will find it.

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Re: failed test

Having points (unless it's over 12) on your licence cannot stop you taking a test.

The examiner checks all these things BEFORE you set off on the test.

It must have been 4 serious faults.
