Re: How many times to pass a bike test?

erm back on topic gents

it just occurred to me that if I'm an unqualified rider (in legal terms which I guess are the ones that count!) then I'm effectively riding uninsured too.
and to take it a step further, it could be argued I've obtained an insurance certificate by deception.
not sure whether I should be happy this thread started - I was blissfully unaware of this issue, but then again in the event of an accident . . .

I wouldn't think that anyone would go down the deception route with it Deano but you definitely won't be classed as insured or road legal

Hi Peanut - Well done.

I'm looking to get my bike licence before the test changes - its 25 years since I was last on one......yikes.....but I want to do it ASAP.
Where did you go to do it? I have a couple of weeks of work soon. Any suggestions on where to go in Central Scotland?

Thanks

Graham

Re: How many times to pass a bike test?

Hi Graham and welcome to the forums - good luck with the test mate

It would be a good idea to get it booked sooner rather than later with all the changes that are being proposed.

Hi Sam - Thanks for that.
I looked at the websites and the feedback and I have phoned Pro-Scot in Kirkcaldy. They are not the closest to me, but they are not too far away. Has anyone got any experience of them? Its always difficult to make a decision unless you get 'good word of mouth feedback'

If I can, I'm going to get booked in for my CBT next week (I just need to dig out the Winter woolies as there is snow on the ground up here!)
