where did your bike come from

was it a private sale, dealer, ebay or somewhere else and why did you chose that way?

mine was a private sale in auto trader, i couldnt afford new and had been looking for the right bike for a while and the thundercat turned up, and it was only 3 miles from where i live which was a bit of a bonus and the price( after a bit of bartering) suited both parties

Re: where did your bike come from

Got mine from a dealer advertising on the Biketrader site Why? The bloke I spoke to was friendly, helpful and did me a cracking deal! Better than my local dealer by a long shot I was a bit concerned about buying a bike I'd not seen in the flesh but happy as a porcine in manure when it arrived

Present bike came from a dealer (only option) but my previous (Fazer 600) was bought privately from a chap in Bury - it was a bit over the average price but it was 2 years old with only 909 miles on the clock and looked as if it had just come out of the showroom, so I didn't mind paying the extra.

Re: where did your bike come from

Got fed up with friends not listening to me and telling me what they thought I should have, mostly sporty 125's.

I wanted what I wanted, you know? So on my own, I watched various 125's (all cruisers) on ebay, bidded on a couple then saw my bike

best thing I've done in years

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Re: where did your bike come from

Mine was an ebay bargain, I had been watching it since it was listed and no one else put in a bid and it was mine. Took it to the dealer for a service the day i picked it up and since then its been just awesome!

Re: where did your bike come from

ebay, needed a bike in a rush to take my test on, only had 4 days to find and collect it and the gpz was listed at 350 no reserve so had a couple of bids and won it for £410 and couldnt be happier with my starter bike!
