| Re: My brakes The answer to the question is simple ... When you apply them do they bite & slow you down or do they make a grinding noise? If it's the former you'll get a few miles out of them, if it's the latter replace them. Simple innit? ![]() |

| Re: My brakes Ok I removed them and I could see they're almost déad. I bought new ones this morning. the question that comes to my mind is : I've been told brakes can last 25000 kms and mines just died after 9000. What is that ? Is that typical to 125CC brakes ? thanks |

| Re: My brakes Could be that the caliper piston is a bit 'sticky', so they are dragging, which will wear them out quicker. It will also use more fuel, so if your mpg is deteriorating that might be a clue. I stripped the calipers on my old CB250RS for that reason, made a world of difference (and fitted goodridges at the same time). |
