Got the bike back. Well I've been over and picked up the Triumph from the bike shop. I had a good chat with the mechanic who did the sprockets and chain (Snapped Chain if you missed the original thread) and from his description of the job, I'm glad I left to him to do. Half the side of the bike needed to come off!I thought it was going to be pricey but I was pleasantly surprised with the final price. I've also been and put some numbers on the lottery just to see if I have any luck left after this escapade. ![]() Anyone know where I can get a cheap scott oiler?

Re: Got the bike back. good to hear the bike is fixed , have a look on ebay for a scottoiler, they are a wee bit pricey new, but you do get excellent customer service and a top quality product(can you tell i have one). i couldnt live without mine, it was easy to fit and has looked after my chain and sprockets exceptionally well![]() ......................Sam

Re: Got the bike back. Glad you got the bike back mate, though it seems they took their time with it. I've done a chain oil/check on both my bikes, (finally I've taxed the Kawasaki Bad news is I can't go out on it in the rain as it's not a wet weather bike ), and they're both in decent nick ![]() Does this mean you'll be able to keep up on our next little run out mate? I'm thinking of taking a ride up to Lord Stones with Deano when the weather picks up a little.

If at first you don't succeed buy a snipers rifle, hire a clown suit and climb a clock tower
