My first big bike after passing my test back in 19 something was a 500cc Norton twin (Dominator 7 I think it was called). It had been attached to a sidecar and had a rear tyre on the front. I couldn't afford to replace the tyre and so I rode it as it was. It probably contributed to more 'offs' than I care to remember. I wonder where it is now - most likely razorblades

my dad's forever mumbling 'shouldn't have gotten rid of that norton, lovely bike hrmmph bl**dy kids' . i can tell him he'll be able to buy a new 'un next year
