That is good news. Best memory of a Norton ? Seeing Trevor Nation wheelie the full start-finish straight at Cadwell, and blitz the opposition.

did someone else not buy up another old british bike company name earlier this year aswell? im sure there was something in the news, but i cant remember the company

My first big bike after passing my test back in 19 something was a 500cc Norton twin (Dominator 7 I think it was called). It had been attached to a sidecar and had a rear tyre on the front. I couldn't afford to replace the tyre and so I rode it as it was. It probably contributed to more 'offs' than I care to remember. I wonder where it is now - most likely razorblades

my dad's forever mumbling 'shouldn't have gotten rid of that norton, lovely bike hrmmph bl**dy kids' . i can tell him he'll be able to buy a new 'un next year
