new kawasaki zx6r

has anyone looked at the reports on the new zx6r? new BPF motogp style forks, for controlled dive under front braking, more simple construction hence less weight and a internal piston size nearly twice that of the model before, reports from test riders are that it takes a little getting used to, but is excellent with a lot less front dive, meaning more stabilatly at the rear on hard braking, a first for a standard road bike, but again lacking in midrange meaning as with loads of kwaks you have to wring its neck to get the best from it

yes the 2004 B1H in candy blue, if you look in members gallery theirs a picture of my old zx6r, great bikes but for me too track focused, ive picked up to many injuries over the years on bikes and the B1H is just to cramped for my fragile frame, but as the engine is a 636cc and not suitable for racing not many found their way on to the track, watch out for twisted yokes and bent front wheels as they wheelie very well, the only thing i could fault it on was the reserve light on the dash board, its to dim and in the summer it can be hard to see, the rear shock is way to hard for road use, so buy another rear shock or have the spring changed, the handling is unbelievable though, and finaly fit a full akropvic system and can, that will release even more midrange, in all a great bike

Re: new kawasaki zx6r

Im split between a zx6r and a supermoto at the minute. very nice bikes , personally I would go for green. I intend to buy when it starts getting warmer next year.
