The Joys of Spring

Yesterday being a fine day I took all four of our motorcyles out to blow the cobwebs off of them, (and off of me.) A real joy of day,(it being several months before the tourists appear.) until I came to taking a friends Harley I am looking after out for a run. I really fail to see what the attraction is with Harleys, I can't believe people put up with THAT level of vibration, the exhaust pipe melting your right trouser leg and right boot, the terrible brakes, and the "handling".
(The bike has just had a £1700 "service" at a main agent so I assume it is running how it should be.)

I was riding a 1200 Sportser. It is about the only Harley with conventionally placed footrests, therefore the only one I can ride anyway.
I can't ride bikes with forward set footrests.

Re: The Joys of Spring

Out of all the Harleys I like the "fat boy" model. Saw one a couple of days ago and liked it - a lot
