What was your first bike?

Mine was an NSR125 - learned to ride and passed my test on it in the snow. Had plenty of stomp but could only do a u-turn on it on a road wide enough for a dual carraigeway Dropped it on my CBT and Gaz lovingly painted it so it looked pristine again - went out next day and stuffed it into a lamp post, smashed the fairing to smithereens and spent 3 weeks waiting for parts to come from Italy ! Wanted to have it deristricted but was advised against it so sold it and bought a Hornet600 instead Still love them though...they must have been one of the coolest 125's

Mine was a FS1E followed by a Suzuki GSX 250. Somewhere in between I had a BSA Bantam (?) but I never really got to ride that as it was in bits most of the time. Those were the days

My absolute first bike was a Honda H100S - ride it into the ground, understood nothing about maintenance - thrashed it until one day, unsurprisingly, I snapped the chain and the whole thing locked up.

Also had my first proper crash on that - a 'hit and run' when I was clouted by two tw@ts in an XR3i. Nobody ever caught or convicted, Plod weren't interested in a 17yo on a 100cc bike getting clobbered.

After that, I briefly had a TZR125 - then joined up, and nothing until now, when I've got the Marauder.

Honda CBR 125 R4 - black - wicked!!

I had a Honda MT5. Great little tool, best thing was all my mates had scooters so used to laugh at them
Replaced that with an RG125, blew it up, bored it out to 150 rode for a while, blew it up, rebuilt it and sold it.
Z250 scorpion after that, was dead on 33bhp according to the book so was good for the restricted licence holders.

I've had more since but seen as this is for first bikes I won't bore you all. However I do know that if I hadn't had the restriction (and a cheap deal on the 250) I would have probably got a little NC30 as the first after test bike, loved them then, still love the one I have now

i was 8 ,and my grandad gave me a BSA D14/4 175 bantam..ex gpo model ( thats the post office for all the children) similar to this, but not so pretty
